1.
We found little bits little bits bits of wood to make a raft and sailed on back Back to where we grew where we grew up where we could have stayed still we could have got stuck but we spread our wings and flew And I hope that you won’t build a tower that’s too tall A tower that rocks that can tumble and fall And with your help then I’ll climb to the top of the tree And I’ll pull you up to be with me And I know that / all you can / all you can / all you can see is golden / all golden and green We filled up bags with toys and clothes and books and now they’re gone they’re gone for good but still we stand Threw them away, away, but memories are here to stay we must move on And I hope that you won’t build a tower that’s too tall A tower that rocks that can tumble and fall And with your help then I’ll climb to the top of the tree And I’ll pull you up to be with me And I know that / all you can / all you can / all you can see is golden / all golden and green
2.
I am a pebble in the sand / waiting to be found To be picked up and held / in warm and loving hands I’m not fearless yet / I have learnt as I have wept The louder I cry / the longer I lie A prick of the skin / feel the darkness within Let us be bound together / cos I’ll love you forever You are the needle I have thread / with all the colours of the earth I will cling to you as you lead me / as you take away my hurt
3.
Null Hymn 03:12
I have to ask now the night rolls on (in an ancient light, an ancient light) will you miss my madness when I'm gone? (an ancient light, an ancient light) as the question hangs like a frozen song (should I rise, should I rise?) we move along Two tongues roll like lumps of meat (in an ancient light, an ancient light) our talk is long, our talk is sweet (an ancient light, an ancient light) shall we take to the rooftops, take to the streets (should I rise, should I rise?) or shall we foretell the heart's defeat, beat by beat by… hear Jörð moan (cradle us, cradle us) hear Jörð moan (then shake us awake) it'll all be over soon just lay back and think of home

about

Alternative pop with electronics, drums, textures, found sounds and voices to take to your bed with you.
So, here's our second EP for you. A record about decay and growth, duality and balance, and an acceptance and that accepting highs and lows is kind of okay.
Pay whatever you choose for the download version, whatever you feel it’s worth. We want you to enjoy the music and aren't asking for your email in exchange.
While you’re having a ponder about that, please bear in mind a pretty simple equation: whatever you can afford, your money helps us make more music.
The record is dedicated to Raif Badawi and Aaron Schwartz.

Thanks very much.
Tim, Meme, Rich and the Ghosts collective. xo
